Cream of the Crop extend Speciality Offering

Cream of the Crop has extended it frozen Potato & Vegetable Speciality ranges with the launch of three new products. These include Spring Onion Mash, Garlic Mushrooms and Bubble & Squeak.

The Spring Onion Mash adds to the current range of standard and carrot & swede. The ideal meal accompaniment, the mash products are highly convenient. They can be micro-waved in minutes or cooked in the oven or on the hob as required. Once cooked the product only needs stirring to achieve that ‘mashed’ look. The product is ideal for people who want the taste of real mash without the effort.

Garlic mushrooms are making a move from something just eaten in restaurants to an easily prepared food at home with Cream of the Crop range. The button mushrooms are coated in crispy garlic flavoured breadcrumbs and can be cooked either in the oven or more conventionally, deep fried.

The traditional Bubble & Squeak product has been brought into the 21 st century with patties that can be quickly oven baked or fried.

Sales Director Ian King, announced “Our existing range of specialities has been selling extremely well and after researching the market we found these 3 products both fitted in with the market requirements and our manufacturers capabilities. They continue the range strategy of providing quality products at value for money prices with minimum effort for the consumer”

The range now boasts 15 different specialities from the more unusual Honey Glazed Roasted Parsnips through to hash browns, vegetable burgers and microwave chips.
