With the increasing issues we are seeing in the food industry regarding food safety it is important to have in place a solid technical support structure.
Jason Heywood is the Technical Manager with over 14 years experience in the food industry. Jason works closely with manufacturers in Europe to provide the link with customers in the UK. Strong relationships with all manufacturing partners ensure that best practice from each factory is shared to create a working environment where product safety and quality is controlled and maintained.
Belfield are members of the British Frozen Food Federation and Law Labs which ensures that all relevant legislation applicable to the UK and EU is captured and implemented.
Each manufacturing partner in Europe has BRC Accreditation to Higher Level showing the high level of standards employed. Naturally full documented Quality Procedures are in place including HACCP throughout the UK and Europe. Also all Yearsley Group cold stores have STS Accreditation.
